The Holiday Inn Basildon is seeking a calm, capable Night Supervisor to lead the overnight team and ensure the hotel runs smoothly, safely and professionally through the night.

You will supervise the night shift, uphold security procedures, handle guest requests, and provide operational support to other departments, with meals on duty and benefits from LGH portfolio.

Qualifications

• Calm, organised, and reassuring under pressure.
• Enjoys leading a small team during overnight operations.
• Takes pride in maintaining a safe, orderly, and well-managed environment.
• Confident handling of guest situations independently.
• Experience in a Night Supervisor, Night Porter, or similar hotel role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the night team, ensuring duties are carried out to a high standard
• Ensure all security and safety procedures are followed throughout the night shift
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints calmly and professionally
• Carry out regular security checks across the hotel
• Provide general operational support to hotel departments overnight
• Assist with light housekeeping or maintenance tasks when required
• Set up meeting rooms and public areas as needed
• Serve food and beverages to guests during the night shift
• Check guests in and out of the hotel when required
• Act as first response to incidents or emergencies, following hotel procedures
• Complete overnight reports and handover information for senior management
