Job summary

Nurse Seekers are recruiting on behalf of a well-established care provider for a compassionate and experienced Senior Night Care Assistant to join their dedicated team within a residential care setting in Winchester. As Senior Night Care Assistant, you will lead and support night staff, promote residents' dignity and wellbeing, and ensure care plans and documentation are accurate.

• Minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant in a residential setting.
• Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Health and Social Care completed.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise and motivate a team.
• Strong organisational, delegation and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours and night-time care commitment.
• Compassionate, empathetic and person-centred approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, individualised overnight care tailored to residents' needs.
• Lead, supervise and support care staff during the night shift.
• Delegate duties and ensure care tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and respond promptly.
• Ensure care plans, repositioning charts and documentation are accurate.
• Support residents with bedtime routines, personal care and overnight refreshments.
