Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in night-time elder care with medication administration.
• Ability to lead and support a night care team effectively.
• Knowledge of CQC standards, GDPR, and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support night care staff — delegate duties clearly and fairly.
• Monitor standards, guide junior carers, and ensure all tasks are completed correctly.
• Be the first point of contact for the home during the night.
• Liaise directly with GPs, District Nurses, Ambulance, and Out-of-Hours services.
• Handover fully to day staff — highlight changes, concerns, and follow-up actions.
