Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Service Manager for NHS Talking Therapies to lead operational delivery across adults' psychological therapy services. You will ensure safe, effective care, drive performance, and guide strategic development in partnership with ICBs and system partners.

The role focuses on access, waiting times, recovery outcomes and patient experience, with strong governance and workforce leadership across the service.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in health, social care, management or related field.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operational management of NHS Talking Therapies services, ensuring delivery against access, waiting time and recovery targets.
• Provide visible leadership to multidisciplinary teams, including Team Managers and Clinical Leads, ensuring accountability and performance oversight.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the ICB, commissioners, primary care and system partners, providing regular performance updates.
• Ensure robust clinical governance, risk management, and information governance compliance.
• Lead service improvement and transformation programmes aligned to Trust and GM priorities.
• Manage designated budgets and resources, identifying cost pressures and delivering efficiency plans.
