Job summary

Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager / Deputy Divisional Operations Manager for the EMRS division on a six-month fixed-term contract in London. You will provide senior operational leadership across medical services, ensuring effective delivery, performance and continuity during change.

You will also undertake elements of the vacant General Manager portfolio to support divisional objectives and priorities, working with Divisional Operations

Qualifications

Significant senior operational management experience, ideally within the NHS.
Proven track record of managing clinical services and delivering performance improvements.
Strong knowledge of NHS performance standards, particularly RTT and DM01.
Excellent leadership, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

Line-manage and support Service Managers.
Oversee operational performance, patient flow, access targets and service delivery.
Lead and coordinate RTT and DM01 performance.
Manage operational pressures, risks and escalations.
Drive service improvement and performance recovery initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Trust and national standards.
Support divisional leadership, operational governance and service resilience.
