Job summary

The Income and commissioning accountant at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is a Band 8a role based across Castle Hill Hospital and Grimsby Hospital. You will negotiate with commissioners, model contracts and provide financial advice to support robust income forecasting for the NHS group.

Qualifications

• Senior CCAB qualified accountant with NHS contracting experience.
• Expert knowledge of NHS financial regime and contracting reporting.
• Ability to lead finance teams and manage cross-trust processes.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with commissioners to secure appropriate income.
• Provide contracting and financial modelling for contracts.
• Highlight risks and opportunities in commissioner contracts.
• Manage income monitoring, reporting and reconciliation.
• Lead the Income Team and deputise for senior finance leaders.
