Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurology based at Royal Preston Hospital. This permanent post offers on-call rota participation and ongoing teaching opportunities.

You will work with the neurology education lead, deliver education to medical students, run outpatient clinics, and manage inpatients under consultant supervision with an educational supervisor supporting your development.

Qualifications

• Essential GMC registration and licence to practise.
• MBBS or equivalent with postgraduate neurology qualifications.
• Experience in neurology at CMT level or equivalent, and commitment to teaching.

Responsibilities

• To work with the neurology education lead to deliver high quality neurology education to medical students.
• Undertake up to three outpatient clinics per week at Royal Preston Hospital and peripheral hospitals under consultant supervision.
• Manage inpatients in the regional neurology ward at Royal Preston Hospital.
