Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Senior Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine to join the Preston and Chorley sites. The post is fixed-term for 12 months, with both full-time and LTFT options, and requires working across a rota including days, evenings and nights.

The role focuses on clinical duties with teaching and supervision of training doctors, plus engagement in audits and directorate management activities.

Competenze

• 6 years of postgraduate medical experience
• At least 2 years working in Emergency Medicine
• At least 6 months working in UK Emergency Medicine at level equivalent to ST4+
• Wider ability in patient evaluation and a working knowledge of minor illnesses and injuries

Mansioni

• Provide primary medical care to patients with recent injuries and acute conditions
• Provide primary care to patients taken ill whilst in transit
• Manage the department to maintain efficient and timely patient flow with targets
• Assist consultant staff in maintaining staffing levels including covering sickness
