Job summary

Government of The United Kingdom seeks a highly specialist psychologist to conduct neurodevelopmental assessments in children and young people. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, applying ADOS-2/ADI-R and evidence-based pathways to inform clinical decisions.

The role requires diagnostic experience with Autism and ADHD, and provides clinical leadership, supervision, and opportunities to improve service delivery within the pathway.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year's experience conducting diagnostic assessments for Autism and/or ADHD.
• Strong knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions and differential diagnosis.
• Experience with recognised assessment tools including ADOS-2 and ADI-R.

Responsibilities

• Providing highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation and consultation for children and young people with complex neurodevelopmental needs.
• Leading multidisciplinary diagnostic discussions relating to Autism, ADHD and related neurodevelopmental presentations.
• Providing clinical leadership, consultation and supervision to multidisciplinary colleagues across the pathway.
• Supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based neurodevelopmental assessment pathways.
• Applying advanced knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions and differential diagnosis to support clinical decision making.
• Maintaining links with education, health and wider partner organisations for collaborative working.
• Leading service evaluation, audits, quality improvement and transformation initiatives.
