Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an IT Technical Architect to lead design and delivery of secure, scalable IT infrastructure across network, systems, and Azure cloud platforms in Reading with on-site and hybrid options.

This senior role requires strategic technical leadership, governance, and collaboration with clinicians and executives to align IT delivery with patient care and organisational priorities.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• ITIL Foundation or higher.
• Extensive experience in technical architecture, ideally within healthcare or public sector.
• Proven experience leading complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of and certified in Microsoft Azure, networking, and systems design.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert formal qualification.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate formal qualification.

Aufgaben

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade Azure, system and network solutions.
• Provide expert technical advice to colleagues and senior leaders.
• Support key infrastructure projects and system upgrades.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices.
• Lead the design, delivery, and improvement of enterprise-level infrastructure across network, systems and Azure cloud platforms.
• Develop technical documentation and architecture standards, embedding secure-by-design principles.
• Provide expert advice and mentoring to technical teams and stakeholders.
• Partner with suppliers and NHS bodies to ensure interoperability and compliance with NHS standards.
