Job summary

NHS Informatics Merseyside is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design and manage the trust's network infrastructure. You will ensure reliable, secure services that support clinical operations and resolve faults with minimal downtime.

The role requires Cisco networking expertise, VoIP, wireless, SD-WAN and willingness to travel across the trust's footprint. A full UK driving licence and vehicle access are essential.

Qualifications

• Cisco certification or an equivalent degree with demonstrable experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience at senior level in network engineering.
• Experience with Cisco network technologies and complex infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Manage the trust's complex network infrastructure and services.
• Ensure reliable and secure network services supporting clinical operations.
• Design and implement network solutions across the footprint.
• Provide expert technical support and resolve issues to minimise downtime.
