Job summary

Charles Jenson Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Network Security Engineer to lead secure network initiatives across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will design, deploy, and maintain advanced security architectures, work with SOC, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.

The role requires 7–10+ years of experience, hands-on firewall management, cloud security in Azure and AWS, zero trust, micro-segmentation, SASE, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in Network Security Engineering.
• Hands-on experience managing enterprise firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco Firepower, Fortinet, Juniper).
• Deep understanding of securing cloud and hybrid environments, including Azure and AWS.
• Experience with network segmentation, Zero Trust initiatives, and cloud security controls.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and expertise in network protocols, security frameworks, and risk assessment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with high stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement secure network architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles across on–premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Manage and optimize enterprise firewall platforms, ensuring policies, rules, and security controls are effective and compliant.
• Lead initiatives to modernize network security, including micro–segmentation, SASE, and adaptive access solutions.
• Securely connect distributed workforce and cloud resources through virtual firewalls, VPNs, and SASE architectures.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analysis to identify and remediate potential threats.
• Collaborate with cross–functional teams and SOC analysts to monitor security events, investigate incidents, and improve detection capabilities.
• Support compliance efforts by ensuring security controls meet standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and others.
• Configure and support security tools including cloud–native security services in Azure and AWS, DDoS protection, and threat monitoring solutions.
