Job summary

Softcat is seeking a 3rd Line Network and Security Engineer to join our Network support team. You will provide 3rd line technical support for network and security customers, resolving incidents and sharing knowledge through training sessions.

You will design complex configurations, peer-review changes, and take ownership of escalations, working in a collaborative, results-oriented environment with hybrid office/home patterns.

Qualifications

• CCNP or equivalent
• Deep knowledge of at least 3 of the listed technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication under pressure

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd line technical support for network and security customers (internal and external) to resolution
• Share knowledge through internal training sessions and team assistance
• Assist with troubleshooting and case handling guidance
• Design and implement complex configuration changes for customers
• Peer review configuration changes prior to implementation
• Own customer escalations and drive to resolution
