Job summary

Hamilton Group is seeking a Senior Network Engineer based in London to own and advance the enterprise network and Fortinet security infrastructure across office, data centre, cloud, and remote-access environments.

You will provide senior technical leadership for network operations, security, resilience, and improvement initiatives, collaborating with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security and Service Management teams to deliver secure, scalable networking that supports Hamilton's global operations and

Qualifications

• Senior Network Engineer with ownership of enterprise network infrastructure and security services.
• Experience independently owning and supporting Fortinet environments and associated health, standards, lifecycle, and incident resolution.
• Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate/FortiSwitch/FortiClient VPN/EMS/Analyzer and high availability tech.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus routing and switching, BGP/OSPF, VLANs, QoS, NAT, DNS and IPAM.
• Proficient in network automation using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible, APIs, Git and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own Hamilton's global enterprise network and Fortinet security platforms across offices, data centres, cloud and remote access.
• Ensure network availability, performance, security and resilience; manage incidents and changes with formal controls.
• Design, implement and support routing, switching and security architectures; lead root-cause analysis of issues.
