Job summary

Peregrine is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a permanent hybrid role in London or Leeds. You will design, implement and operate critical network services across environments, collaborating with Security, Compute and Platform teams.

You will drive Infrastructure as Code, automation and automated testing to improve resilience and service delivery, while supporting Cisco Nexus, UCS, Check Point VSX and enterprise firewall platforms.

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance or eligible.
• Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus switching and UCS platforms.
• Experience with Check Point VSX environments and enterprise firewall technologies.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching and network security.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Network, Security, Compute and Platform Engineering teams to support service delivery and incident resolution.
• Develop IaC, automation and automated testing to improve resilience and efficiency.
• Maintain and enhance Cisco Nexus switching, routing, firewall and load balancing platforms.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis and participate in service improvements.
• Support infrastructure projects and technology refresh programmes.
