Job summary

Netsweeper is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join the NOC and Cloud team, based largely at home with occasional travel to the data centre in Canning Town, East London. You will design, deploy and optimize complex networks, including on‑premises and cloud environments.

The role requires deep expertise in network protocols, security, virtualization, and system administration, with responsibilities spanning configuration, monitoring, maintenance and on‑call support to ensure

Qualifications

• 7+ years in networking roles with senior responsibilities.
• Bachelors in CS or Engineering; professional networking certs preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimize LAN/WAN/WLAN and cloud networks.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers and QoS.
• Monitor network performance, security, and availability; perform maintenance.
• Provide tier 2/3 support and participate in on-call rotations.
• Ensure security policies and change management are followed.
