Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Developer to design, develop and maintain enterprise-scale software using C#, .NET / .NET Core, Razor, Web API and SQL Server. You will work across the full stack and drive high-quality code.

You'll collaborate with Product Owners, testers, UI/UX, and engineers to deliver new features and integrations with third-party systems, while promoting best practices, CI/CD, and secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Developer within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET / .NET Core, and SQL / T-SQL.
• Solid understanding of database design, performance optimisation, and query tuning.
• Experience delivering front-end functionality using HTML, JavaScript, and Razor.
• Experience building and supporting integrations with third-party systems using REST APIs or similar technologies.
• Practical experience working with Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps, or equivalent CI/CD tooling.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio or VS Code.
• Strong understanding of software development practices and agile delivery methods.
• Experience working across the full software development lifecycle, from concept through to production support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Experience in enterprise SaaS industries, or with complex, high-availability platforms, would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-level software solutions using C#, .NET / .NET Core, Razor, Web API, SQL Server, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Work closely with Product Owners, testers, UI/UX specialists, and Engineering colleagues to deliver new functionality, improvements, and third-party integrations.
• Remain hands-on in coding, solution design, and development across the full .NET stack.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party platforms using APIs and other integration methods.
• Support best practices across development, testing, and deployment to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, development tooling, and engineering practices.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute ideas supporting product improvement and delivery effectiveness.
• Diagnose complex technical issues, including integration challenges, data consistency issues, and performance improvements.
• Support knowledge sharing and code quality through peer reviews and collaboration.
• Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture focused on clean, efficient code and practical delivery.
