Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced backend developer to interpret and implement software solutions based on detailed requirements. You will improve existing products, troubleshoot core applications and databases, and collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams across the globe.

The role requires strong PHP 8+ and MySQL skills, solid OOP/SOLID practices, and familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL. You will mentor teammates and contribute to documentation in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend web application development experience.
• Proficient in PHP 8+ and MySQL.
• Strong OOP, SOLID, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience applying design patterns for maintainable, scalable solutions.
• Hands-on testing with PHPUnit or Pest.
• Strong SQL, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL knowledge.
