Ashdown Group is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for a fully remote role within a fast-growing tech business in the energy sector. You will design and deliver complex features, APIs and distributed services, helping to shape technical standards in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of .NET/C# experience, with strong API knowledge and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows. You will mentor teammates and ensure security and performance across systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial experience with .NET and C#.
• Experience building APIs, services and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing complex features using modern .NET (C#).
• Translating business and regulatory requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Working closely with Product Owners to refine, size and estimate work.
• Contributing actively to story pointing, estimation and sprint planning.
• Leading technical investigations and resolving complex production issues.
• Reviewing peer code to ensure maintainability, performance and security.
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Supporting secure integrations using certificate-based authentication.
• Driving continuous improvement in quality, automation and engineering standards.
