Job summary

Ashdown Group is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join a dynamic tech team working on high‑volume, secure APIs and distributed systems. The role is fully remote and requires strong C# expertise; energy/utilities sector experience is preferred.

You’ll design and implement complex features, collaborate with Product Owners, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while mentoring peers and driving engineering standards across the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial .NET/C# experience.
• Experience building APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD and Git workflows in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex features using modern .NET (C#).
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Refine, size and estimate work with Product Owners.
• Contribute to story pointing, estimation and sprint planning.
• Lead technical investigations and resolve production issues.
• Review peer code for maintainability, performance and security.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Support secure integrations using certificate-based authentication.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, automation and standards.
