Job summary

CreateFuture in Glasgow is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to maintain and modernise a portfolio of enterprise applications on AWS. You will lead hands-on engineering decisions, balancing legacy systems with cloud-based platforms in a regulated environment.

You will partner with architects and stakeholders to drive pragmatic improvements, automation, and operational excellence, within a hybrid delivery model based in Glasgow.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Senior Software Engineer in .NET environments.
• Experience with AWS cloud and DevOps practices in enterprise settings.
• Ability to balance legacy and modern stacks and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and improve applications using .NET and AWS.
• Work across legacy and modern stacks to evolve services.
• Analyse applications to identify opportunities for simplification and modernisation.
• Contribute to cloud platform improvements and AWS initiatives.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Support DevOps practices and automation across the delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver pragmatic solutions.
