Job summary

Cloud People is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to support enterprise customers across Azure delivery and operations. The role offers Glasgow-based hybrid work or UK-wide remote consideration, focusing on migrations, modernisation and cloud-native projects.

The successful candidate will work directly with customers to translate requirements into secure Azure solutions, implement landing zones, governance, and platform services, and automate infrastructure using IaC while supporting CI/CD

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure engineering experience delivering across migrations, modernisation, and cloud native projects.
• Experience with Azure landing zones, governance, and platform services.
• Familiarity with IaC and automation tools; CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong security, performance and cost optimisation mindset.
• Background in consultancy or managed services is beneficial.
• Microsoft certifications AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400 or security-focused certs are desirable.
• Curious and proactive with ongoing Microsoft updates and home-lab testing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, support and optimise Azure environments across core services.
• Work directly with customers to translate requirements into secure Azure solutions.
• Implement and manage Azure landing zones, governance and platform services.
