Version 1 in Edinburgh is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to maintain, develop, and innovate business-critical applications across client projects. You will work through requirements, development, testing, and production deployment within the Version 1 DDC Group, exploring cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and modern architectures to grow your skills and advance your career.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of .NET development experience is expected.
• Current .NET / C# and ASP.NET experience including .NET Core.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain software to meet client needs using C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and Entity Framework Core.
• Design, build, and support distributed APIs and multi-tier integrations across client systems.
• Modernise legacy applications with N-Tier, MVC, Event-Driven, or Microservices patterns.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and support releases per ITIL.
• Apply unit testing and TDD (xUnit, NUnit, Moq).
• Work with Azure cloud services (App Service, Functions, Service Bus).
• Create and maintain best-practice documentation for clients.
• Provide technical mentorship and peer code review.
• Support AI-assisted development tools governance.
