Job summary

Addition Solutions Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced Lead / Principal .NET Engineer to take technical ownership of a small, skilled team supporting a high-volume messaging platform. You will own the technical delivery, shape architecture and ensure reliability while remaining hands-on.

You will divide time between architecture, design, code review and hands-on coding, mentoring engineers and setting standards for quality, testing and observability across the platform.

Qualifications

• Strong and current .NET engineering experience.
• Proven experience operating as the technical authority within an engineering team.
• Excellent architecture and solution-design capability.
• Excellent code-review skills with the confidence to challenge technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the technical direction of the team.
• Make key architecture and design decisions across the platform.
• Allocate work and help engineers prioritise delivery.
• Guide developers through complex technical challenges and remove blockers.
• Spend ~50% of time on architecture, design and code review while remaining hands-on.
• Review and challenge internal and vendor-developed code to maintain standards.
• Improve automated testing, test strategy and end-to-end validation.
