An exciting opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and caring neonatal nurse to join our well-established and friendly neonatal multidisciplinary team.
We are a Local Neonatal Unit within the busy North Central & East London Operational Delivery Neonatal Network, actively participating in network groups and initiatives.
Our Neonatal unit has 24 cots, including 2 intensive, 6 high dependency, and 16 special care cots. As a Designated Level 2 (LNU) unit, we provide excellent care for preterm babies from 27 weeks’ gestation and for sick newborns, including stabilization prior to transfer to NICU.
To apply, you need to be RN/RSCN/RM with neonatal qualifications and skills. The team works various shifts, including internal rotation to night duty, weekends, and bank holidays. In return, we support your personal development and career progression.
The role involves delivering high-standard holistic care to all babies allocated to you, maintaining clinical standards during nursing procedures, and ensuring the safe custody and administration of medication.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework, championing service user safety and dignity, and driving continuous improvement.
