Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a senior Children’s Occupational Therapist to join our Band 7 neonatal workforce. Based at Leeds General Infirmary and St James's, you will work across inpatient units and outpatient neurodevelopmental services, delivering family-centred care within a FiCare model.

You will assess, treat and support infants from preterm to early childhood, lead training for junior staff, and collaborate with the MDT to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant postgraduate experience at a senior level in Paediatric OT.
• Experience in neonatal and neurodevelopmental care.
• Ability to lead, train and supervise junior staff within FiCare MDT.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage neonatal and neurodevelopmental care needs.
• Lead and develop the neonatal OT service and provide staff training.
• Collaborate with MDT to embed family-centred care.
