Babcock Canada is seeking a Waterfront Engineering Senior Electrical Engineer in Victoria, BC.

You will report to the Marine Systems - Electrical Team Lead and contribute to the successful delivery of technical deliverables; prepare and approve deviations and waivers for submarine electrical equipment; draft and review electrical engineering policies and standards; provide mentoring for engineers and technologists.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering.
• Licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer in Canada.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience; naval industry preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and approve deviations and waivers for submarine electrical equipment.
• Draft, review, and approve electrical engineering policies, procedures and internal standards.
• Provide mentoring and professional oversight for a team of engineers and technologists.
• Assess, document, and communicate risks to internal and external customers.
• Support Project Managers for dynamic program delivery in a shipyard environment.
