Job summary

SSEN Transmission in the UK seeks a Senior Project Manager – Nature to lead offsite restoration schemes, driving governance, reporting and budgeting across a complex portfolio. You will oversee a team, engage landowners and stakeholders, and ensure delivery aligns with Biodiversity Net Gain commitments.

Travel across Northern Scotland and the Islands is expected, with a focus on delivering on time and within budget while developing robust governance and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Experience with project management processes across multiple external stakeholders.
• Strong governance, reporting and budgeting capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead high-performance teams and deliver on time and budget.
• Interest in nature restoration and regulatory requirements in Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Nature Delivery Managers to deliver offsite schemes.
• Drive programme and risk management to meet time and budget targets.
• Develop and implement governance for portfolio schemes and reports.
• Collaborate with Finance, Natural Capital and wider team on budgeting and spend.
• Build relationships with landowners, stakeholders and communities.
