Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Nature to deliver a portfolio of offsite nature restoration schemes and provide governance, reporting and budgeting expertise across a complex program. You will lead a team and drive delivery aligned with biodiversity commitments, with travel across Northern Scotland.

The role involves managing budgets, developing governance, and collaborating with landowners and internal teams to ensure successful delivery of nature restoration initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience of project management processes, contract management, and technical reporting across a diverse project portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Nature Delivery Managers to deliver offsite nature restoration schemes.
• Drive governance, reporting and budgeting across the portfolio.
• Develop and implement governance approaches for end-to-end portfolio delivery.
• Engage with landowners and stakeholders to support sustainable delivery.
• Manage budgets and spend reporting for large capital projects.
