Job description

As one of the largest suppliers to the UK Off Trade, we aim to expand further in distribution, confident in our brands and talent. We are now seeking a candidate to support this growth, joining a team dedicated to development and success.

Role Summary:

This position involves managing key UK accounts, both existing and new, within the UK team and the wider EMEA business unit. The role is crucial for driving our UK sales strategy to meet and surpass sales forecasts, expense budgets, and profitability targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Build and develop WX Brands and Grupo Penaflor wine brands within specific UK retailers, including targeting own label and tertiary opportunities to meet customer needs and company targets.
  2. Collaborate with Logistics, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure successful and profitable long-term sales.
  3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with key and new accounts, providing excellent customer service.
  4. Coordinate with customers and internal teams to deliver promotional plans that support brands and retailer needs.
  5. Forecast all products within your portfolio monthly and annually using internal processes.
  6. Represent the business as an ambassador, working within a high-achieving team to strive for success.
Skills and Experience:
  1. Over 3 years of relevant experience.
  2. Thorough knowledge of the UK Wine Market, with experience in two or more top UK Retailers.
  3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  5. Effective time management, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  6. Initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Team player and quick learner.
  8. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  9. WSET qualifications are preferred but not essential; a passion for wine is a must.
  10. Proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
  11. Able to prioritize long-term projects while meeting short-term demands.
  12. Ability to manage and exceed customer expectations.
Other Relevant Information:

This is a home-based role requiring domestic and international travel. Regular visits to customers and attendance at trade fairs and team meetings in the UK and Madrid are expected.
