We are recruiting for a great Senior National Account Manager that is looking for their next step in terms of key account management, team mentoring and industry-leading remuneration.

About the Role

Our client is a market-leading, award-winning FMCG business within the ambient food sector, supplying premium-quality products to all major UK retailers and foodservice customers. With an impressive global supply base and a reputation for innovation, this organisation combines commercial success with a strong, collaborative culture. The business continues to expand, and as such they need a Senior National Account Manager to join their talented commercial team and take ownership of key retail relationships.

Responsibilities
  • As a Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a major UK retail account, identifying new business opportunities, and driving growth across both branded and own-label ranges.
  • You’ll build strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders across Sales, Supply Chain, Technical, and Product Development teams to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer service.
  • Working closely with Procurement, Category Insight, and Marketing teams, you’ll utilise market data and category insights to deliver impactful customer presentations and secure new listings.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Have at least 3 years’ experience of sales and national account management within the food industry.
  • You will demonstrate both new business and key account management skills.
  • You must have up-to-date and proven experience of working with UK retail customers.
  • Be a proactive, driven, and tenacious professional who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
