Job Description:

We are currently working on behalf of a fantastic manufacturer, who are home to a number of incredible brands within FMCG. The business has gone from strength to strength in recent years, shaking up the market with ambitions to be at the very top.

What You'll Do:

The Senior National Account Manager will take ownership of the strategic growth within Grocery Accounts. Developing and executing the plan and brand strategies, with line management of a National Account Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Increase distribution and visibility of products within the account base
  2. Develop new business within account base
  3. Responsible for the delivery of internal targets with focus on profitable growth
  4. Promotional plan implementation in line with strategy and customer plan
  5. Understand commercial impact - Pricing, promotions, and Investment etc.
  6. Negotiate trading terms, pricing, range reset opportunities, JBP's and cost increase where relevant
  7. Develop, implement, and execute clear JBP's with customer base ensuring focus on key measures for customer base and internal targets
  8. Collaborate with internal teams with focus on account specific objectives
  9. Provide clear internal and external analysis of reports with focus on performance measures
  10. Strong execution with retailers of NPD plans with clear implementation of support plans
  11. Focus on forecasting, internal communication and understanding of retailer supply demands

What You'll Bring:

  1. National Account Management level of experience gained within FMCG, managing Discounter / Grocery accounts
  2. Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  3. Ambition, a real drive to succeed
  4. Nurture strong working relationships internally and externally
  5. Ownership - a keen interest in having autonomy and supporting key business decisions
