Job summary

elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Senior Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for its Eye, Suffolk site. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance, electrical and PLC fault-finding, and driving equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work on planned and preventive maintenance, manage external contractors, and uphold site safety standards as part of a progressive, multi-site group with strong growth plans.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven background within food, beverage, or high-volume FMCG manufacturing.
• 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification highly desirable
• Experience with PLCs, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, drives, compressors, pumps etc.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day engineering schedules.
• External contractor management.
• Site safety standards compliance.
• Hands-on planned & preventive maintenance, continuous improvement modifications, and electrical/PLC fault-finding.
