Job summary

Wendy's Leeds is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to deliver A level operations and exceptional customer experiences across company restaurants. The role is hands-on, driving performance, profitability and talent development while supporting the expansion of Wendy's footprint.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, optimise financials, ensure food safety, and collaborate with HR and Marketing to open new locations and sustain growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with increasing responsibility in operations management.
• Experience in P&L management of multi-unit operators.
• Proven supervisory track record in geographically dispersed restaurant teams.
• Strong relationship-building, influencing and communication skills.
• Accountable, results-driven, customer-focused with ownership mindset.
• Strong operating, financial and marketing acumen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver A level operations and an exceptional customer experience in Wendy's restaurants.
• Develop and execute a business plan aligned to the market plan with clear targets.
• Activate action plans to achieve top-tier operations and customer service.
• Ensure food safety and health compliance at all times.
• Drive profitability through effective management of food, labor and controllable costs.
• Coach and develop talent; lead performance management and succession planning.
• Partner with Marketing, Development, Construction and HR to support openings and expansion.
• Build a strong restaurant culture and empower teams to excel.
