Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join a small team handling a complex, multi-technology application. You will manage incidents, changes and service requests, while ensuring SLAs and proactive support across the UK.

The role involves limited client site visits, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering small enhancements in collaboration with development teams. ITILv4, Linux, and NiFi experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Itilv4 Foundation certification is essential.
• Proven expertise with Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with data integrations and NiFi.
• Experience with AD, DNS and network routing is required.
• Knowledge of IPsec, PKI, and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Handle incidents, problems, service requests and changes.
• Maintain accurate service records and link related incidents.
• Coordinate client visits for changes and incident resolution.
• Mentor Application Support Engineers and ensure best practices.
• Lead small enhancements via the support team and coordinate with development teams.
