Job summary

AB InBev is seeking a hands-on maintenance engineer to support a fast-paced Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) at a UK site. You will lead fault finding, root-cause analysis and sustainable improvements to maximise system reliability and output.

Reporting to the First Line Manager, you will own issues, drive solutions and develop to a leadership role within an ambitious engineering team at AB InBev.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
• Multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical bias.
• Proven fault finding experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain planned and reactive maintenance across the ASRS as part of a multi-skilled team.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on the ASRS system.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical faults in a high-pressure environment.
• Take ownership of breakdowns from initial fault to permanent resolution.
• Analyze equipment data to identify recurring issues and drive improvements.
• Deliver continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Develop and improve SOPs, SWIs, and maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with OEMs and contractors to resolve technical issues and manage spares.
• Record maintenance activity accurately within SAP/CMMS systems.
