Job summary

Kohler Mira is seeking a senior multi-skilled engineer to join the CPD team in Cheltenham. The role spans Kohler Mira, Rada and Recoup brands, driving design engineering projects across product categories and leading complex product changes to improve performance and lifecycle value.

You will provide technical direction, coach engineers, and ensure changes are compliant and well-documented, with onsite work in Cheltenham and travel as needed.

• Lead cross-functional design engineering projects across product categories and brands.
• Own value engineering and lifecycle cost activity and deliver measurable savings.
• Provide technical direction and coach engineers within CPD/NPD.

Responsibilities

• Lead design engineering projects from problem definition to implementation and benefit realisation.
• Identify opportunities for product and business improvements; build stakeholder support and drive projects.
• Ensure engineering changes remain compliant and auditable across portfolios.
• Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to define technical expectations and implement cost improvements.
• Provide guidance during urgent production, supplier, and approval issues.
