Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fault find and test complex LV networks, critical systems and equipment.
• Carry out fixed electrical installation testing and general inspections.
• Monitor results and analyse outcomes according to IEE Regulations and BS 6771.
• Perform emergency work isolation and certificates of non/compliance.
• Conform to Electrical Safety Code for Low Voltage Systems for Competent Persons.
• Plan and organise maintenance work associated with the post.
• Maintain records of work in accordance with procedures and manage stock levels.
• Supervise and develop maintenance staff; induct new starters and apprentices.
• Assist in statutory testing and safety procedures; work in hazardous areas.
• Liaise with wards/departments to specify and complete work within priority periods.
