Job summary

Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is recruiting experienced Occupational Health Nurse Advisors to join our integrated Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service, working across Portsmouth Hospitals and Isle of Wight NHS Trust.

You will manage a varied clinical caseload and provide evidence-based advice to managers and staff, delivering high-quality occupational health services across multi-site locations.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Post basic qualification in Occupational Health or relevant subject, or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own clinical caseload and provide evidence-based advice to managers and staff.
• Deliver health surveillance programmes and vaccination services.
• Complete pre-employment screening and immunisation reviews.
• Support safety-critical roles, including ambulance service staff.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records using electronic systems.
• Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver an effective service.
