BMIE Recruitment is seeking a senior IT/security engineer to own client delivery end-to-end for premium engagements. This hands-on role requires independent execution, trusted with top clients, and mentoring a junior engineer.

You’ll shape security deliverables from onboarding through project work and incidents. You will lead security engagements (SSO, identity, email security, endpoint hardening) and design client environments with Mac, Google Workspace, Cloudflare, and Entra, while expanding

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT/systems engineering or MSP delivery with ownership of client relationships and outcomes.
• Ability to lead client engagements end-to-end and mentor junior engineers.
• Based in the UK with willingness to travel within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Own IT and security delivery for a portfolio of clients, end to end from onboarding and BAU through to project work and incident response.
• Lead security engagements: identity and SSO hardening, email security, endpoint hardening, SaaS posture reviews.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to sophisticated clients such as investment firms and family offices.
• Design and stand up client environments: Mac + Google Workspace, Jamf/ABM, Cloudflare, Entra where required.
• Read, maintain, and extend our automation estate (Cloudflare Workers, Notion, Zendesk).
• Mentor our junior engineer and help turn recurring work into repeatable products and playbooks.
