Job summary

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Specialist Physiotherapist (Band 7) to work in MSK spinal and shoulder services at Friarage Hospital, Northallerton. You will collaborate with Advanced Practice Physiotherapists and MDT colleagues to deliver expert assessments and interventions.

The role offers potential for leadership development, a structured CPD programme, and involvement in audits and research within an NHS MSK service.

Qualifications

• Holds a degree or diploma in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
• Postgraduate study (MSc or equivalent) encouraged/open to progression.
• Experience in acute musculoskeletal care and spinal/shoulder clinics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert assessment for spinal and shoulder patients within MSK service.
• Work independently delivering specialist treatment for spinal and shoulder conditions.
• Lead or run spinal rehabilitation groups and support junior staff.
