Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust Musculoskeletal Service is seeking a Bank Band 7 Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our team. The post offers mentoring, supervision and CPD, with a focus on research, training and developing staff.

You will deliver advanced MSK assessments and management with autonomy, make clinical decisions, support self-management, and contribute to service improvement across primary care and community settings.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
• MSc or equivalent education.
• CSP membership.
• Experience with MSK assessment and management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level MSK assessments and initial treatments with autonomy.
• Make high-level clinical decisions and triage for appropriate pathways.
• Provide care tailored to patient goals and self-management.
• Collaborate with MDT to streamline MSK pathways and service delivery.
• Provide supervision and education to other physiotherapy staff.
