Job summary

SJB Medical is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join our growing team in Putney. You will manage a diverse MSK caseload, from initial assessment to full recovery, within a MDT and modern clinical environment.

The role offers autonomy, clinical challenge and opportunities to contribute to service development, with a clear pathway for professional growth and industry-leading training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years UK private practice experience.
• Ideally 5 years post-registration experience.
• HCPC Registered.
• Elite sport or specialist clinical roles desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist clinical advice to CES prescribers on equipment provision, clinical reasoning, risk management and safeguarding.
• Review and authorise specialist equipment orders, maximising use of recycled special equipment to ensure value for money.
• Support and develop clinical governance, prescription criteria, policies and procedures in line with national guidance.
• Contribute to the development and review of the TCES equipment catalogue, including identifying Close Technical Equivalents (CTEs).
• Deliver training, familiarisation and equipment demonstration sessions for prescribers.
• Undertake audits, service improvement projects and data analysis to reduce risk, improve efficiency and generate savings.
• Work collaboratively with CES managers, commissioners, health and social care professionals and suppliers to improve future equipment provision.

Salary: £42,000-£50,000 per annum (pro rata) + bonus scheme (£49,000 - £55,000)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week including 1 Saturday per 4-6 weeks.

The Role

This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse and complex MSK caseload, working across adult and adolescent populations.

You will oversee rehabilitation journeys from initial assessment through to full recovery, supported by a collaborative multidisciplinary team (MDT) and a modern clinical environment.

This position is ideal for a physiotherapist who enjoys autonomy, clinical challenge, and contributing to service development.

What you'll do

• Support and develop clinical governance, prescription criteria, policies and procedures in line with national guidance.
• Contribute to the development and review of the TCES equipment catalogue, including identifying Close Technical Equivalents (CTEs).
• Deliver training, familiarisation and equipment demonstration sessions for prescribers.
