Alliance Medical Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior MRI Radiographer to join their dedicated team in Taunton. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced MRI Radiographer to join our team.
You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. You will report into the Unit Manager for the service but also have support from a Clinical lead.
As a Senior Radiographer at Alliance Medical, you will be responsible for adhering to protocols and procedures to produce high-quality images and provide exceptional patient and customer care. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of MRI examinations. This role is suitable for someone seeking to gain valuable experience and develop their career. The successful candidate will have a flexible, patient-focused attitude, and be able to work flexibly within the team. Building excellent rapport with patients and customers (both internal and external) and maintaining high standards of care are essential.
The candidate should have 2-3 years of MRI experience, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with the team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy are required. Experience in performing different types of MRI scans routinely is expected.
Previous cannulation experience is advantageous. IV Cannulation skills are essential; training will be provided if needed.
Other requirements include evidence of clinical competency, a flexible approach to work, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and being IT literate. The candidate must be HCPC registered and able to work under pressure.
