Job summary

Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital is seeking a Senior MRI/CT Radiographer to join our Radiology team in Bristol. The role is permanent, full-time, with a salary up to £45,000 depending on experience and a 37.5 hour work week.

The successful candidate will have a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) and be HCPC registered. MRI experience and a postgraduate MRI qualification are desirable, with basic CT knowledge advantageous.

• MRI experience and postgraduate MRI qualification are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality MRI service, producing diagnostic images to the highest standards.
• Maintain a safe scanning environment through MRI screening and safety protocols.
• Provide an outstanding patient experience and reassurance throughout the journey.
• Collaborate with Radiologists, Consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to development and optimisation of the MRI service.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and service innovation.
• Mentor and support junior radiographers and students.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with professional standards.

You'll hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) and be HCPC registered. Previous MRI experience and a postgraduate MRI qualification are desirable, along with a good understanding of MRI safety and best practice. Basic CT knowledge and experience are also advantageous.

As a Senior MRI Radiographer, you will:

• Provide an outstanding patient experience, supporting and reassuring patients throughout their journey.

• Drive quality improvement initiatives and support service innovation.

• Mentor and support junior radiographers and students.

• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
