Job summary

Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital is seeking a Senior MRI/CT Radiographer to join our modern imaging team. The role is permanent, full-time, with up to £45,000 depending on experience, and 37.5 hours per week.

You will hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography and HCPC registration. MRI experience and a postgraduate MRI qualification are desirable; basic CT knowledge is advantageous. Training and support for MRI development are available.

Qualifications

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography and HCPC registration.
• Previous MRI experience; postgraduate MRI qualification desirable.
• Good understanding of MRI safety and best practice; basic CT knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality MRI service and produce diagnostic images to high standards.
• Maintain a safe scanning environment and ensure MRI safety protocols.
• Provide excellent patient experience and support while undergoing imaging.
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams for clinical outcomes.
• Contribute to development and optimisation of the MRI service.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and support service innovation.
• Mentor junior radiographers and students.
• Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
