Job summary

Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital is seeking a Senior MRI Radiographer to join our imaging service. You will deliver high-quality MRI imaging and ensure patient safety throughout the scanning journey.

You will hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography and be HCPC registered; MRI experience is desirable and a postgraduate MRI qualification is a plus. Basic CT knowledge is advantageous, and training can be provided to develop MRI expertise.

Qualifications

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) and HCPC registration.
• Postgraduate MRI qualification desirable.
• Basic CT knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality MRI service, producing diagnostic images to the highest standards.
• Maintain a safe scanning environment through MRI screening and safety protocols.
• Provide an outstanding patient experience, supporting and reassuring patients.
• Work with Radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support clinical outcomes.
• Contribute to development and optimisation of the MRI service.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and service innovation.
• Mentor and support junior radiographers and students.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with standards.

Up to £45,000 depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

You'll hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) and be HCPC registered. Previous MRI experience and a postgraduate MRI qualification are desirable, along with a good understanding of MRI safety and best practice. Basic CT knowledge and experience are also advantageous.

As a Senior MRI Radiographer, you will:

• Deliver a high-quality MRI service, producing diagnostic images to the highest standards.
• Maintain a safe scanning environment through robust MRI screening and adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide an outstanding patient experience, supporting and reassuring patients throughout their journey.
• Work closely with Radiologists, Consultants and multidisciplinary teams to support excellent clinical outcomes.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and optimisation of the MRI service.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and support service innovation.
• Mentor and support junior radiographers and students.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
