Job summary

Additional Resources Ltd is seeking a Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker in the Birmingham area. The role offers £35,000 - £45,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission and an earning potential well over £100,000, with no weekends.

You will work with senior brokers, assess client requirements, review affordability and support mortgage applications through to completion. Strong complex mortgage experience and CeMAP/MAQ qualifications are valued.

Qualifications

2 years' experience in mortgage advice.
Experience handling adverse/complex mortgage cases is desirable.
CeMAP/MAQ mortgage qualification held for at least 12 months.
Interest in specialist mortgage lending growth and development.
Good numerical ability to assess income, expenditure and affordability.

Responsibilities

Assess mortgage applications involving complex or adverse financial circumstances.
Review clients' income, expenditure and credit information.
Prepare mortgage recommendations and supporting documentation for lender submission.
Carry out affordability calculations and review lending options.
Keep accurate records of client information and application progress.
Work within mortgage industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with colleagues to progress applications smoothly.
