Qualifications

• Proficiency in a range of multidisciplinary molecular biology techniques in the lab.
• Experience with cloning (PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA purification, restriction reactions, ligation, Gibson assembly).
• Genotyping and sequencing workflows including Nanopore Sequencing and Sanger sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to post-doctoral staff and PI on molecular biology projects.
• Assist with two projects on centromere biology and related epigenetic variation in Arabidopsis thaliana and marine plankton.
