Job summary

Ideagen is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to shape native mobile experiences across iOS and Android. You will lead the delivery of complex features and modernisation initiatives, while mentoring engineers to uphold high standards.

This hands-on role focuses on building new capabilities, implementing robust testing, CI/CD, and scalable mobile platforms for our EHS & Quality SaaS. Remote work is supported with optional hybrid arrangements in practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in native mobile development for iOS and/or Android.
• Ability to lead feature delivery and platform improvements.
• Strong focus on code quality, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex mobile features, technical migrations, and platform improvements across iOS, Android, or both.
• Drive high-quality engineering practices, including architecture, performance, security, accessibility, and maintainable code standards.
• Lead the effective use of AI agents and orchestration workflows for feature delivery, testing, and problem-solving, applying sound judgement on when and how to use AI tools while sharing best practices across the team.
• Build and enhance automated testing, CI/CD, and release processes to ensure reliable and high-performing mobile applications.
• Mentor and support engineers within the squad, providing technical guidance and acting as a key reviewer for designs and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to shape mobile standards, share best practices, and influence technical direction.
• Identify opportunities to improve team effectiveness, processes, and platform capabilities, driving solutions from idea to implementation.
